A simple question led to an adventure that we as a family could all be a part of! One night at dinner, about a year into this learning process, our son and daughter asked what their roles could be in the business. We responded by asking what they were interested in and what they wanted to be a part of. Our daughter quickly responded that she wanted to work on fabric colors, pattern designs and commercials (I loved her optimistic thinking that there would someday be commercials!). Our son quickly responded after that he wanted to help with the money - making sure we have enough coming in to pay for all the expenses (um, yes please!). Later that afternoon I found them chasing their new roles with excitement - Ansley drawing designs and David working on a spreadsheet and researching fabric mills!
